Early quests are very fetch this and that based or kill this guy and come back, fine but gets repetitive. Co op worked but didn’t feel as smooth as it could be. Menus have loads of needless clicks, look dated and whilst they do a different spin on the abilities and inventory management (just as good as when diablo first moved to console) overall its just a pain and I land up avoiding the menus until I really need it. I looked forward to going back in with updated visuals and controls.įor the most part the game is absolutely fine and still just as fun as the first time around, my only issues are a lot of mechanics in the game have not aged well and with such sparse checkpoints the game has a lot of niggles that stifle its true potential. Torchlight 2 finally lands on current gen consoles! The fun more arcadey take on Diablo like games entertained me immensely when it first came out on Steam.

Bonus is you can send him/her back to town to buy and sell items.

Torchlight II takes you back into the quirky, fast-paced world of bloodthirsty monsters, bountiful treasures, and sinister secrets – and, once again, the fate of the world is in your hands.
